How much risk should you take in your financial strategy?
What is an appropriate amount of risk to take with your overall financial strategy? Let me try to give you a bit more context on the question. You all have either consciously or subconsciously made a decision on how much risk to take with your overall financial strategy. For example, how much savings to put away for a rainy day, how much to contribute to your 401K or IRA, how much to put towards investment, how much to spend on material things and experiences. You’ve also decided, for example, a certain allocation in your 401K/IRA/Investment accounts. For example, you had to choose what mutual funds to invest in for your 401K, or what ETFs/stocks to invest in your other accounts, etc. For your overall financial strategy, what is an appropriate amount of risk to take?
